When the light shone through.
When the waves crashed at your feet and your toes sunk deeper into the warm sand.
When the ocean slipped under and over your soft sweet skin and cleansed it of this world.
And for one second, we were in an alternate universe.
Where the sound of the ocean never becomes faint.
Where distance never exists. And where voices aren’t needed. Only...
